UNESCO Publishing keeps a network of distributors and sales outlets in most countries, who can supply from their stocks or place orders. Order On This Site
Online Orders
All items offered on this site can be ordered and paid online in a secure environment.
We use one of the safest payment software that exists on Internet today: SSL (Secure Socket Layers). This technology encrypts and protects all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read until it reaches our ordering management centre at Société Générale Bank. No credit card number is kept on our server.
To order an item, please click on the "order" icon next to each title reviewed on this site. The information will automatically be incorporated into the order form and you can continue your search. At the end of your visit, call up the order form, modify it at will, complete it and submit it.
To pay online, you have only to click on the chosen credit card icon (Visa, eurocard, MasterCard) to enter the secure system: this is indicated by a pictogram at the bottom left of the screen showing a closed padlock or a full key and sometimes a special message. You will then be requested to fill out a form with your card number and its expiry date.
Offline Orders
To order an item, please click on the "shopping basket" icon next to each title reviewed on this site. The information will automatically be incorporated into the order form and you can continue your search. At the end of your visit, call up the order form, modify and complete it at will, print it and send it by fax (+33 1.45.68.56.54), postal mail or by E-mail (publishing.promotion@unesco.org) to UNESCO Publishing with your payment.
Means of payment:
- Credit card: Visa, MasterCard or eurocard (card number and expiry date requested)
- Cheques (except Eurocheques): to the order of UNESCO Publishing in Euros drawn on a bank established in France

Prices and Currencies
Prices are quoted in EUROS. Credit cards will be debited in Euros
at the bank rates applicable on the day of the transaction, as in
all standard international credit card operations.
Prices quoted on this site are only valid for sales online, direct orders from UNESCO Publishing, or purchase at the UNESCO Bookshop in Paris, France. Local sales prices are established by distributors and sales outlets according to their national practices, taxes and currency regulations.

Delivery and Charges
Handling and postage from Belgium by ordinary mail is charged at the rates of € 5.50 for Europe and € 10.00 for the rest of the world for all orders. Delivery takes up to ten days for Europe and 2 to 3 weeks for the rest of the world. Special delivery by courier service is available upon request. Privacy
At UNESCO Publishing, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties.
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, shipping address, credit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of your order status.
When you sign up to receive information on new titles or to download certain software or plug-ins made available by us through our site, we only need an e-mail address.
When you sign up for our Reader's Club, we need your full details.
We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, new Unesco Publishing services and special offers we may deem to be of interest to you.
When you place orders, you are using a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us and this information is then transmitted to our bank the Societe General for processing. No detail of your credit card is stored on our server.
